This lovely lady is Cathryn Ann Clüver; she is the second wife of Tom Ashbrook, veteran NPR host as well as the radio host of WBUR’s two-hour call-in radio show On Point. NPR suspended Mr. Ashbrook while they investigate sexual misconduct allegations against him.

Yesterday, Boston University and WBUR received some allegations against Tom Ashbrook. Tom will be on leave from his duties at WBUR while an outside organization hired by Boston University examines these allegations. We will decide a course of action after getting the results of this investigation.

Danielle, Dylan, Ben & Lauren

Prior to marrying Cathryn this year; Mr. Ashbrook marries his first wife Danielle Guichard, mother of his three children; Benjamin, Dylan, and Lauren Ashbrook.

Benjamin lives in Boston with his wife Ervina Topalli; Dylan studied at Duke and Stanford, works at iTunes at Apple; Lauren a Yale graduate works as a senior communications lead at indigo.

Mrs. Guichard Ashbrook and Tom tied the knot for the first time in 1975; she was the associate dean for international students and director of MIT’s International Students Office. She was one of three daughters born to Parisian dad Robert Guichard, an engineer at General Electric; her mother Barbara Lauer, an elementary school teacher was born in Niederlahnstein, Germany.

Danielle was 60, when she passed away from breast cancer on November 6, 2014.

He met his second wife 41-year-old Cathryn Ann Clüver in March 2016; German stunner Cathryn is the founding Executive Director of the Future of Diplomacy Project at the Harvard Kennedy School.

She graduated from Harvard Kennedy School with a Masters Degree in Public Administration; she also holds a Masters Degree in European Studies from the London School of Economics and an undergraduate degree in international relation and French Civilization from Brown University.

Mrs. Cluver also serves as an Executive Director of the India and South Asia Program at the Belfer Center for Science and International Affairs at HKS. She and Tom Ashbrook tied the knot on June 17, 2017.
