Louise Linton is the lovely younger wife of Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin. The two tied the knot earlier this year. Find out more about the sexy blonde.
Linton’s hubby is a banker, film producer and former hedge fund manager. He was born Steven Terner Mnuchin on December 21, 1962.
The New York native attended Yale, graduating in 1985. He is known as the co-founder of Dune Capital Management LP. He also founded OneWest Bank Group LLC in 2004 and served as its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer.
Mnuchin also worked in the mortgage-lending department at Goldman Sachs while the group spearheaded the growth of such products as collateralized debt obligations and credit-default swaps, instruments that many have argued had a part to play in the financial crisis. Following his 17-year-career at Goldman Sachs, he went onto work with a number of hedge funds.
He has also financed major blockbusters such as American Sniper, Gravity, Avatar and Life of Pi. He was appointed Secretary of the Treasury this February by president Trump. He previously served as the Finance Chairman of the Trump campaign.
Steve and his longtime girlfriend, Louise Linton wedded last June.
He was previously married to wife, Heather Crosby. The couple was married from 1999 until their divorce in 2014. The former couple welcomed three kids: Emma, John and Dylan Mnuchin.
Louise Linton was born December 21, 1980. She is an actress of Scottish descent. She founded a production company called Stormchaser Films –after having a brief career as an actress.
She began professional training as an actress at a young age. Linton studied at The Edinburgh Drama Academy. She later trained with a private coach from The London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts.
According to her website, Linton attended St. George’s School for Girls and then Fettes College. She appeared as a guest star in ‘CSI: NY’ and she later landed small roles in a number of indie feature.
The blonde is perhaps best known for writing In Congo’s Shadow: One Girl’s Perilous Journey to the Heart of Africa. Linton received hard criticism for inaccuracies and even had to apologize for causing offense.
Linton is certainly not one to keep quiet. She recently caught some headlines after engaging in a social media fight. She exchanged comments with an Instagram user who wrote in a one of her pictures: Glad we could pay for your little getaway. #deplorable.”
Since then, she changed her Instagram to private.
