We bring to you a new couple alert! Meet Shauna Mei; she is the new love interest in the life of Gen. Wesley Clark! Yup that’s her in the picture above and she surely looks young but that is because she is! The man is 68-years-old and the New York entrepreneur is only 30! Shauna is actually 13 years younger than Clark’s son!
So here is what we know about her; she is the founder and CEO at AHAlife, she is in the textile industry; according to her LinkedIn profile she previously worked as an analyst for two years at Goldman Sachs, she is also partner and co-founder of Aronsson Group a project that invests in luxury brands. In 2009 she founded Mobius Strip LLC and was the CEO at Casall International.
For the past three years she has been the CEO of AHAlife which is a recently launched online platform to discover unique products from around the world. Addressing a variety of facets across one’s entire lifestyle – from fashion, accessories, home décor, food, and more – AHAlife.com has already garnered the support of tastemakers such as Tim Gunn, Bobbi Brown, Daniel Boulud, Cynthia Rowley and Tina Brown – all of whom have curated their favorite finds.
To found AHAlife Mei ventured in the internet industry merging her interest of fashion, tech, social media, food, design, art.
But before all that happened Mei, a Mongolian-born was raised in China and moved to the US after the Tienanmen Square massacre. She attended MIT where she studied computer science/electrical engineering and Management.
The 30-year-old belongs to Ladies who Launch association and also to Montgomery Technology Conference.
Her skills rely on trend spotting, branding, brand extensions, licensing, co-marketing collaborations, international expansion, web, social media, financial planning, capital investment.
The accomplished young woman swept Clark like a tornado since last year when they where first spotted together.
In her short life Mei has lived in Beijing, Seattle, Boston, New York, Hong Kong, Stockholm and London. Her favorite food is her grandmas Chinese flat bread, she reads Kahlil Gibran and her hidden talent is dancing.
The couple apparently decided to go all out this year by looking cozy in each other’s company at events, obviously not trying to hide their romantic status. Clark’s divorce is still in the midst of divorce proceedings.
Mei sure has played her cards right so far but a 38 year age difference relationship is what she really wants?
She did an interview for the Huffington Post you can read here.
