Rebecca Miller Spicer is the wife of White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer.
Spicer is a seasoned communicator and strategist who’s background includes senior positions on Capitol Hill and political campaigns and the top ranks of the administration.
Born Sean Michael Spicer on September 23, 1971 to an insurance agent father, while his mother worked at Brown University.
Spicer attended Portsmouth Abbey School. He holds a B.A. in Government from Connecticut College.
He also received a master’s degree in National Security and Strategic Studies from the Naval War College in Newport, Rhode Island.
During the 2000 election cycle, Sean was the National Republican Congressional Committee’s Director of Incumbent Retention.
From May 2005 to 2006, Sean was Communications Director for the House Republican Conference; before that, he served as Communications Director for the House Budget Committee.
Prior to his current position, Sean was the Communications Director and Chief Strategist for the Republican National Committee from 2011 to 2016.
