Paul Pelosi
Paul Pelosi is the proud husband of politician, Nancy Pelosi –the current House Speaker of the US House of Representatives.
Paul’s congresswoman wife is second in line to the presidency and is currently in her 17th term, representing California’s 12th congressional district. She was elected House Speaker for the second time this year.
Born Nancy Patricia D’Alesandro on March 26, 1940 –the Baltimore, Maryland native is the daughter of Thomas D’Alesaanddro Jr., -who served as Mayor of Baltimore for 12 years, after representing the city for five terms in Congress.
Nancy who clearly followed into her father’s footsteps –was first elected to Congress in 1987; she has also previously served as House Minority Leader and House Minority Whip.

#1 Paul Pelosi is not a politician
Normally under the radar, Paul Pelosi is often seen by his wife’s side at events. He was born Paul Francis Pelosi on April 15, 1940; and is a San Francisco native.
#2 He is well educated
Paul earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Foreign Service at Georgetown University. In addition, he attended New York University and the Harvard Business School.
#3 He is an investment banker
Paul is an investment banker with over 40 years of experience in finance and management. He currently serves as the president of Financial Leasing Services, Inc., a San Francisco-based diversified investment and consulting company.
#4 He used to own a football team
After previously investing in the Oakland Invaders of the United States Football League, in 2009 he purchased a franchise in the United Football League, the California Redwoods –which later became the Sacramento Mountain Lions.
#5 He has been married for decades
Paul Pelosi met future wife Nancy, while in college, they were married in Baltimore, on September 7, 1963. They have been together for an astonishing 56-years.
#6 He has five grown kids
Nancy and Paul welcomed four daughters: Nancy Corinne, Christine, Jacqueline, and Alexandra; and a son, Paul. In addition the two are also proud grandparents to at least nine grandchildren.
#7 He is active in philanthropic efforts
Paul sits on the boards of many philanthropic boards and corporate Boards in San Francisco and in Washington D.C. He serves as Chairman on the Georgetown University School’s of Foreign Service’s Board of Visitors, the San Francisco War Memorial Board of Trustees, the National Institute of Health Children’s Inn and the University of California Medical School Foundation.
