Kayla Moore is the loving and supportive wife of politician and former Alabama judge, Roy Moore. The couple has been married for decades and together share four children.
Kayla who’s been married to Roy since 1985 has remained supportive of him following sexual misconduct allegations made to her husband last month.
Moore who was twice elected to the Alabama Supreme Court and twice removed, is currently the GOP nominee for the open Senate seat in Alabama. The retired judge has been accused of having initiated sexual contact with a 14-year-old girl when he was in his 30s. Reports say he also pursued three other women in their teens while serving as an assistant district attorney in Alabama beginning in the 1970s.

Kayla Moore is a graduate of Southside High School in Etowah County, Alabama. She took classes at Jacksonville State University and the University of Alabama.

Kayla was 21 when she married first husband John Charles Heald on June 5, 1982. Two-and-a-half years after they exchanged vows, Kayla filed for divorce, citing “cruel treatment during the marriage” in the complaint. From her first marriage she welcomed daughter, Heather.

Moore claims in his 2005 book “So Help Me God” to have met Kayla at a church gathering the week before Christmas in 1984. The pair began dating in late 1984 or early 1985, a period during which court records show his bride-to-be was still legally married to her first husband. They tied the knot on December 14, 1985, just months after her divorce was finalized.

Roy and Kayla Moore are the proud parents of four children and are also the grandparents of five grandchildren. She is the proud mom to sons Caleb and Micah and daughters Ory and Heather –who was adopted by Moore.

Kayla Moore is the president of the nonprofit her husband started after he was removed from the Alabama Supreme Court in 2003 for publicly displaying the Ten Commandments. The Foundation for Moral Law, based in Montgomery, Alabama, offers legal help to support conservative Christian issues.
#8 She was injured in a 1999 car accident
Kayla Moore was awarded more than $270,000 in damages following a jury trial. She was injured when she was hit by a car in 1999 while walking to her vehicle in the Colonial Mall-Gadsden parking lot.
#9 Kayla Moore has engaged in politics on her own as well
In the 2016 election, she endorsed Sen. Ted Cruz for his conservative beliefs on government, marriage and abortion.
