Kathryn Hazel Blair is the daughter of former Prime Minister for the UK, Tony Blair and his wife, Cherie. She was born on March 2, 1988.
Kathryn was a student at King’s College London. During her studies, she spent a year in Strasbourg on an Erasmus exchange scheme, where she lived in a £250,000 flat bought by her parents. It is said that she graduated from France’s most prestigious university, Sorbonne. In 2010, her parents purchased a maisonette (apartment) for her in London, near to their home.
While she was once unsure of following in her famous parents footsteps into the legal profession, she was called to the bar (Lincoln’ Inn, where her parents met) in November of 2012. As someone explained, “It is incredibly competitive. Of the 500 law students who are called to the Bar every year, only 100 get positions. You have to do extremely well in your bar exams..” Needless to say, Tony and Cherie very proud of their only daughter’s achievement.
A few nights ago, Kathryn was walking her dog with her boyfriend and their friends when they were held up at gunpoint. For unknown reasons, the two assailants fled without taking anything. Although frightened and shaken, no one was hurt. This happened on a street near her home. This attack is a cause for concern about possible terrorist attacks targeting Blair and his family.
Neighbors of Kathryn’s say that she is a lovely girl, and very down to earth. They were relieved that she was not harmed in the attempted robbery and we are glad as well.
