Blake Rushing
Blake Rushing is the mystery husband of Allison Jones Rushing –set to become one of the youngest federal appellate judges in the country.
His wife was nominated last August by president Trump, to the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals for the seat previously held by Judge Allyson Kay Duncan, who is retiring. She’s been said to have a rock star resume.
Allison Jones was born in 1982, the North Carolina native is a partner at Williams & Connolly, where she has worked since 2011.
She attended Wake Forest University and Duke University School of Law. She graduated law school magna cum laude in 2007. While at Duke she was the executive editor of the Duke Law Journal.
Before joining Williams & Connolly, she clerked for conservative Supreme Court Justices Clarence Thomas and Neil M. Gorsuch. She worked for Gorsuch when he was a judge at the Tenth Circuit.

Blake attended the University of Mary Washington from 2002 until 2005 with a B.S. Business Administration. He also holds a masters in accounting from the University of Virginia. After college he worked at Ernst & Young and spent time abroad with the Adventures in Missions.
