The the website has been inundated with teething problems but the feature that has remained is the smiling image of a mystery girl that should inspire confidence when visiting the page and its believable information.
The Daily Mail reports even President Barack Obama’s supporters have been critical of the website’s performance which has been plagued with problems from the start, imagine how this girl must feel being one of the most images hated in the Nation! So the question remains who is this woman? Was it worth to be the model of a failed and hated website?
She smiles back at countless frustrated Americans as they tried to log on to the ObamaCare website, but hasn’t been of much help really. The poster girl who some sites suggest she might be in the witness protection program surely never thought when signing into becoming the image that would welcome the non-insured to enroll for health insurance under the Affordable Care Act would receive this kind of treatment.
The unknown girl has been a target for jokes, according to the website The Onion, on an attempt of criticizing the many errors of the platform published a story on last week called ‘People In Healthcare.gov Stock Photos Now Visibly Panicking’. Even ‘stock photo girl’ looks alarmed by the glitches on the website judging by her eyebrows.
Making her still smiling appearance into something that looks more as if she was extremely nervous and screaming for help!
The picture of youthful health and wholesome trust in her government is making headlines again as now she has been removed from the website and looks like this.
Several outlets, have combed the contact sheets of stock photo agencies, scoured social media and squinted at group shots of Democratic operatives but have nothing so far. She’s also been called “Glitch Girl”
The viral image of Obamacare girl has also been identified by BuzzFeed as “Adriana.” Now her disappearance as if it was an act of magic has sparked even more intrigue, now the site that its still causing frustration among citizens has no one else to hate, instead of her youthful face there are four icons prompting visitors to enroll in four different ways.
